Prairie Rock Brewing Company has been doing
business in downtown Elgin for almost ten years.
Over the past four years Prairie Rock's ownership
and management staff have focused on becoming a
leader in the community by getting involved with
charitable organizations and local not-for-profit
groups.
Prairie Rock has chosen the Boys and Girls Club
of Elgin as it's "Charity of Choice".
Principle owner Michael Origer has been very
generous with his time by sitting on the Board of
Directors, as well as donating a home to the Club.
Prairie Rock has encouraged the Club to take
advantage of Prairie Rock for their fundraiser's and
events. Prairie Rock includes the Boys and
Girls Club in it's annual Brew Fest, which is the
Organizations largest fund raising event of the
year.
Prairie Rock Brewing Company was awarded
"Corporation of the Year" by the Boys and Girls Club
of Elgin for 2004 for all that they have contributed
to the Organization.
